I think the answer to this one is 6.

here is why i say it

each of the 6 teams in the league played each of the other teams exactly twice -- therefore there will be 30 matches that will be played

Team A B C D E put together have won 24 matches so team X should have won 6 matches

Having said that m just curios to know whether my aproach and answer is correct

Here it is
since there are 6 teams A B C D E X
Total no of games played will be (5+4+3+2+1)*2
=30
total number of games won by all the other teams = 4+7+9+2+2 =24
hence games won by x=30-24=6
