A&B have SVA error as increasing(adj.) demand(noun) is singular.

There is a cause and effect relationship hence if-then clause should be used. 'When' is incorrect eliminating D

We need to modify supply(noun) hence we need to use an adjective and not an adverb. Eliminating E

My choice is C
