How can I determine if it is independent or not?

a. Carl getting three different types of dishes on a buffet table and Vince getting the same types of dishes on the same buffet table.
b. Mace picking a chocolate candy from a jar and Louise picking a lollipop from the same jar
c. Classmates Charles and Alex both wearing blue shirt
d. Mrs. Ramirez giving birth to a baby girl after giving birth to a boy four years ago
e. Mr, Mendoza selecting from his class the lead actor for a play and selecting from the remaining students the supporting actor
