There are three ways to improve your profile:

(1) Achieve that 730-760 score on the GMAT. That's going to be imperative for top programs given your background.

(2) Define your career goals. Asset management and Fintech are very different fields. Settle on one and perfect that narrative so it makes sense starting with your pre-MBA journey to post-MBA vision.

(3) This isn't an option now, but amass more work experience. If you really feel like you're ready and want to apply now, go for it. I happen to think another year under your belt would go a long way in strengthening yoru application.

Good luck!

Hi,

My name is Palak Batra and I'm pursuing Economics (Hons) from SRCC (a premier institution in India), I would be applying to top London colleges for MSc Finance. Please let me know my chances.

CGPA: 9.79/10
GMAT: 730-750 (in practice exams), planning to take it in a week
Work Experience: Unfortunately, I don't have internships in finance, but I do have 4-5 internships in various domains

I would like to apply to LSE, HEC, KCL, UCL etc. What are my chances?

It sounds like you have a few important feathers in your hat.

Your GPA is quite good. The fact that you've had internships (forget if they're in finance) shows you're being active about gaining experience. If you do as well as you expect on the GMAT, you should have a shot at these programs.

Are you applying to these programs this year? If so, please reach out for more help by using the link below:
