Initially, the men and women in a room were in the ratio of 5 : 7. Six women leave the room. If there are 35 men in the room, how many women are left in the room?

A. 40
B. 41
C. 42
D. 43
E. 49

Men = 5k, Women = 7k
Six women leave the room—> 7k - 6
Given, 5k = 35
—> k = 7

Women = 7k - 6 = 49 - 6 = 43

IMO Option D

Pls Hit kudos if you like the solution
