Hi,
I am trying to figure out a study method for verbal section of the GMAT. I have bought 6 books with around 600 pages per book. 3 is from one company that has sentence correction, RC, LR. The other 3 books is another company with the 3 sections. However, when I try to go through one of them book I somehow read 50 pages in one day the next day is 40 pages and the next is 30 pages. After that I completed stopped for 1.5 months unable to go back to the book again. I have studying the GMAt since 2018 on and off. I don't want to delay again since its been 4years.
Maybe I am reading the book word by word too carefully and too slowy. What do you think. How would you approach these dense books? skimming? I don't know how to skim or scan. If I don't read word by word I can't understand it. But I think that's the only way to accomplish it within 2 or 3 months. I am plan to take the test during the summer. I want plenty of time to do the practice exam and not just learning problem solving strategies in the book.
Can you please tell me your study method approach. How you read the dense text books. Other things that I should be aware of in order to finally take the exam.
Thank you,
Stephen
