If I am looking for Post MBA consulting roles in Middle East, specifically Dubai, which campus will be more suitable? I am getting a mixed response from the alumni of INSEAD. Someone is saying geographically Fontainebleau is more suitable for my goal and few people highlighted Singapore might be better. Do you have a suggestion on this?

INSEAD alumna here, happy to share firsthand insights. The campus does not matter at all if consulting is on your mind and you are confident that you will get through (now this is tricky!). The consulting recruitment pipeline at INSEAD is highly streamlined, and positions are open to students from both campuses regardless of location. Consulting networking activities also run at full throttle on both campuses, so as long as positions are available/open, considering your demographic/passport, you don’t need to factor campus location into your recruitment strategy for top consulting firms.

You should decide on the location based on your Plan B. Happy to share more if you have questions.

When consulting firms come to INSEAD, they are typically location-agnostic. During the application process, you are asked to list your top 3 preferred locations, which can be anywhere. However, common choices often include London, New York, and Chicago. A smart strategy can be to prioritize a less competitive location, such as Middle East offices, higher on your list to improve your chances.
