Hello everyone,
I was fortunate enough to be accepted to both schools, but I'm having trouble picking which one to attend.
I am a Korean who currently serves as the country CFO for the Korean branch of a German corporation. I have a total of 17 years of professional experience, including 10 years at PwC, and I hold US and Korean licenses as a certified public accountant. In the near future, I plan to work as a regional CFO for commercial companies in other Asian or European nations, but probably not in the US.
I am aware that Korean companies and people prefer US B-schools to European B-schools, but my decision is currently hampered by the fact that the total estimated expenditures (tuition and travel) for attending Booth, excluding any financial support from my current employer, are nearly double those of INSEAD, and I am unsure whether this difference is still worth it.
Any thoughts or comments would be highly appreciated!

Congratulations on your admits!
I am not familiar at all with the INSEAD EMBA. Is it new or did I completely miss it?
INSEAD is a consulting powerhouse though I can totally see expanding further since nobody works in consulting for 20 years
In terms of EMBA, most of your networking and connections and recruiting will come through your classmates or a personal network. With Booth, you are likely to have a US-heavy class. If you are not planning to be in the US, I don't think it makes a lot of sense to attend the school there and pay quite a bit of a premium for that benefit which you will not use. 🤷♂️

I understand why this would be a difficult decision. I always like to say go to the person or the people that you want to buy your MBA. Is there anyway you can get in touch with hiring managers or headhunters for the position you hope to have post MBA?? Try to suss out the difference it would make in your career. And definitely talk to people who have graduated from each program that work in transportation.
