Guys,

Just a couple of questions for the people who submitted everything.
Did you get email confirmation of application fee transaction
Did you get confirmation of transcripts reception

Is it advisable to send them an email to check otherwise

Thanks!

Hi all,

I am very disappointed right now. It turns out that one of my referee choices was very bad. He did the reference last minute and I'm afraid its quality is very poor as the whole thing was rushed.

I think the rest of my application is quite strong: Gmat 770, 6 yrs experience in asset management, strong international and volunteering experience, strong academics.

I think that my other reference should be much better in terms of quality.

I'm a bit worried about the negative effect that this bad reference will have on my chances. Just to be clear, by bad, I mean the quality of the reference itself not the comments that the referee wrote about me.

Anyone has any views on that?

What the duck is that application form? I can't submit it!!!

What in hell is that signed certificate about? It seems to be validated by an official institution? How did you submit your form?

EDIT: oh I received an email that stated the application was submitted despite the error message I received, time to open the wallet.

EDIT2: application submitted. INSEAD's process was the poorest and most painful I ever encountered.

Lol. Same here. As if there were not enough nerves already. The adobe crashed on me when I submited the form. But got a confirmation on email soon after. Phew last few days have been hectic but glad it's over. But the wait begins.

Count me for R1.

Good luck to all !

In for R1, recommendations and all. I agree that the application process is the most cumbersome and difficult I've encountered yet. Looking forward to the outcome. I dinged IESE and was dinged by most other top b-schools imaginable this season. GL all!

edit: the PDF is terrible. It crashed on me while applying (I have the latest Adobe Reader version), and I'm still not sure if I signed it properly. Anyway, bygones now..
