well technically not a ding... they mentioned that if i give my GMAT before the last date of this intake, then i will be considered....

as i undetrstand, this rarely happen but i guess its a good sign rather tthan an outright ding..... back to the books.

break up M: 50 V: 31 ..... they require as far as i understand,75th percentile in both .....

Hey quick question,

A week ago I got an email acknowledgment regarding receipt of the GMAT scores which mentioned the following:
"Thank you for reporting your GMAT score to INSEAD. We look forward to hearing from you further and receiving your application."

Is this an automated response that everyone receives or is it like saying your GMAT score is not a problem? Barracuda did you receive such an email?

I do not recall receiving any communication from Insead prior to the email that they received my application. But maybe they changed the response process slightly for later rounds?

Hi, could we just have a roll-call of everyone who has AMB as a coordinator? To my knowledge she hasn't contacted any of us yet...?

Nothing from AMB yet (I am in Toronto). When she called me for the pre-selection notification it was on the last at 6 p.m. France time and she clearly said that they keep North American (specially East Coast) to the end due to time difference.

Hi all,
I got a call today morning and they said that I am accepted.
My coordinator is AMB (but not sure if she called me or somebody else, I was in rush going out of a meeting and cannot figured out who I talked to very well).
Best of luck for those who are still awaiting calls / accepted-emails. Keep faith!

Hey guys,

I have applied on the 9th of June and I have a couple of questions.

a) A week ago I got an email acknowledgment regarding receipt of the GMAT scores which mentioned the following:
"Thank you for reporting your GMAT score to INSEAD. We look forward to hearing from you further and receiving your application."

Is this an automated response that everyone receives or is it like saying your GMAT score is not a problem? For example I read a post in this thread about a partial ding requiring higher GMAT scores by the end of the application deadlines to be considered. Would he have received such an email when he send his GMAT scores?

b) On the etheryl website, upon submission of my application, there were 5 items: Application, Photograph, Application Fee, Recommendation #1, Recommendation #2.

Today, I can see 5 more: Additional Letter of Recommendation, Transcripts and Degrees #1, Transcripts and Degrees #2, Test Results, Language Proof. These 5 new item, in contrast to the initial 5, do not have a green tick and these fields seem enabled ie I can upload something or mark them as non-applicable.

What are these 5 items? Am I supposed to upload something?

I am yet to receive confirmation that my application is complete and under review.

I had applied in R2 and I received the email confirming the app upload. I checked the link provided in that mail and that time I saw only links for "Application, Photograph, Application Fee, Recommendation #1, Recommendation #2". Infact I had checked a few weeks later also to see the same links.

Today I am also seeing those additional links. Not sure what it means.

I applied R2. I got the same email regarding submission of the GMAT score. I think it comes when they access your formal GMAT score report sent by Pearson.

Got this much before I got the application complete email. The GMAT email seems to be a standard email. I don't think it means your GMAT score is acceptable or any opinion as it to its sufficiency. It just means they have received it from Pearson in my view. I did not include a copy of my GMAT report in the pack I sent to them with my transcripts. So I initially thought they accessed my official GMAT report because I didn't send them a copy.

---> I don't think R2 folks who have app complete emails have anything to worry about. These 5 fields should be intended for the next round, R3. I remember someone here posting a tweet from the INSEAD Admissions office about how they plan to streamline the process and start accepting pdf copies of the transcripts etc instead of having ppl send them in by post. These things can now be uploaded to the website directly it seems.
