well, it certainly feels that way... my app was submitted in the second week of April... I wasn't happy with one of the essays and took some more time...

I tracked the highs and lows of R1 on this thread and am about to live through it again for R2! btw this thread has ~86k hits now.. only past insead and lbs threads have more in non-US buzz schools category... we owe it ourselves to make it the most watched thread ever!

Man2011, I got mine from SH. And I'm from and in India. But we have 4 more days to watch, with probably 80-90% invites going out in the last 2 days (as I've read in previous threads).

just got an email from INSEAD ... my heart started beating 10 times faster only to realize that its a marketing email about upcoming MBA events ....

How can INSEAD play such cruel jokes on us at this time ......

Today is gone. 2 cruel days left and on Friday we get an email no matter what. I have put down my work email as well in the application so I receive 2 emails at the same time on my phone if it's regarding the application. This way at least I am not in constant agony since I receive 30 emails a day anyway and usually not 2 at the same instance. The bad thing is that if we get through to the interview, then we'll have to wait until September to get a final reply! So the wait guys is far from over!

Ditto, I started reading it and noticed it didn't immediately say "you have selected...". Thought it was a rejection email but then realized it was just marketing. So cruel.

Interesting to know when, those who got a reply, submitted their applications and who their coordinator is, to determine if it has to do with early applications, region, randomness or strength of application etc.

I submitted mine around 3 weeks before the deadline. I'm tilted towards thinking that the early invites are going to early submitters. MBAji got an early invite and his app was also weeks before the deadline.

Just hang on folks, gmatclubbers would sure get the invite. Cause or effect or whatever.

I submitted mine 6 days before the deadline so maybe tomorrow will be my day... but probably together with most people on Friday.
