Congrats ps_dahiya!!

Same here. What a stressful 8 hours. I was on a flight from Brussels for the past 8 hours and wasn't able to check my email all day. I finally checked it while landing (shhh) and found my interview invite waiting for me!

Invited for interview as well. I was pretty bummed yesterday when I didn't get an invite but it looks like they were all sent out at once this morning.

dahiya,

congrats! sorry couldn't get to this earlier due to forum problems. My advice is "be yourself" - yes I know it's cliche but that's what I do. I don't usually prepare for interviews as such, but you need to be clear about a couple of things - why MBA, why INSEAD, why now and what do you plan to do post INSEAD. Don't sweat about getting every detail right - just be comfortable.

Both my interviewers and interviews were easy going and was more conversational. Many others have reported friendly alums (barring a couple of unpleasant ones like Popeyes) so I think you should be fine.

Go neatly dressed, talk comfortably and don't hesitate to tell them you would like to be in INSEAD :) good luck and hope to see you there!

Got interviewer details few hours back.

One is a McKinsey guy and for the other I don't know his company.

I am getting a little nervous by that McKinsey guys because I also want to go in consulting (post MBA)

Do you guys know if everyone interviews with 2 people? I just got my info for one interview, but no mention of the fact that more info may be on the way.

I got mine yesterday as well, CFO of a large local holding company. Last year, he interviewed a friend of mine who is at INSEAD now - so hopefully he's a good luck charm.

I only got the details for one person too. I've heard that its not always necessary that 2 people interview you. I think in our case dukes, we may only end up interviewing with the one guy.

Do you think this is because of location and shortage of interviewers? Or do you think its because we're such rock-star applicants that they didn't think it was necessary? :)

PS I live in a major US city and will be taking the train to NY for the interview.

I'm interviewing with a local guy but Dubai is only an hour and a half away from where I live and I know that there's a big number of alumni there so I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume we're just that good.

Now watch us get an email with the details for another interviewer tomorrow.

Do you guys send the 6 page profile or the CV? And if you send the CV, does it need to be more comprehensive than the typical 1 pager?
