One of the great differentiators of INSEAD is the truly global nature of it's footprint and student body. It is *the* international MBA. If you go into the Fountainbleu or Singapore cafeteria, you'll probably hear many different languages spoken within your first minute there.
It is hypothetically possible and increasingly common for a full-time INSEAD MBA to split their education across 3 different continents: Fountainbleu, France; Singapore, and Philadelphia, PA through INSEAD's partnership with Wharton. The partnership with Wharton is especially helpful for students seeking to tap into Wharton's Q1 and Q2 recruiting cycle for US-based employers. The laid-back and collaborative culture at Wharton, combined with its younger student body (and, importantly, its grade-non-disclosure policy) is often described as a breath of fresh air for visiting INSEAD students, who often use their weekends in Philadelphia and the no-classes on Fridays to take advantage of 6 weeks of weekend travel in the NE US region.
The INSEAD curriculum is integrated seamlessly across Europe and Asia: the program and the faculty are shared between 2 campuses and 99% of courses are offered on both campuses as well by the same professors. Employers don't know which campus a student is attending while they apply for positions, either, which maximizes benefits for students seeking the international experience while hoping for employment in another location.
Although some INSEADers prefer to stay put (such moving around can be costly and inconvenient), others enjoy taking advantage of the multiple campus options because studying abroad allows for maximum international network-building. A brief look at the alumni statistics on the INSEAD website will help you understand how integral the global brand is to the INSEAD DNA: https://www.insead.edu/alumni. There are robust INSEAD alum national associations in nearly every country.
