a)a spoof on all the horror movies since Bram Stoker`s Dracula as well as a vision of a new genre of films
b)a spoof on all horror movies following Bram Stoker`s Dracula and also his envisioning of a new genre of films
c)a spoof on all horror movies after Bram Stoker`s Dracula and his vision of a new film genre
d)spoofing all horror movies from Bram Stoker`s Dracula onwards and also a vision of a new genre of films
e)spoofing all the horror movies made since Bram Stoker`s Dracula as well as his own envisioning of a new film genre
Let me try.
1. We can eliminate D and E because of "spoofing". We have a name`Saturday the fourteenth` before the undrelined part. So we need some sort of defition for this name. It has to be some noun. "Spoof", not "spoofing".
Ok, maybe it could be "spoofing", but on condition that there is some other definition of `Saturday the fourteenth`aftr that. But we have none.
So D, E are out.
2. "Since" before "Bram Stoker`s Dracula" seems right to me.
"After" and "following" sound strange, wrong.
I can eliminate B, C because of it.
3. But the most important part for B, Cis this: we have "and" that connects 2 different parts: Spoof and Vision.
"a spoof on all horror movies after Bram Stoker`s Dracula and his vision"
We can say they are have not sense parallelism.
And the sentence means, that Howard presented the movie, which is not only the spoof, but also his visioning.
It has not only the first quality, bit the second one to.
So eliminate B, C.
4. A gives us "as well", that corrects our item 3.
