This one is fairly straightforward:

Since there are 320 players and 5 players per team, there are 320/5 = 64 teams.

now, it takes 2 teams to play a match. So, in round 1 there will be 32 matches. At the end of these 32 matches, there will be 32 winning teams and 32 losing teams. So 32 losing teams get knocked out.

Round 2: 32 teams play 16 matches. 16 losing teams get knocked out. 16 teams remain.
Round 3: 16 teams play 8 matches. 8 losing teams get knocked out. 8 teams remain.
Round 4: 8 teams play 4 matches. 4 losing teams get knocked out. 4 teams remain.
Round 5: 4 teams play 2 matches. 2 losing teams get knocked out. 2 teams remain.

After 5 rounds: 5 rounds completed and 2 teams remain.

Make sense? :)
