Not sure if "tranche" is correctly defined here (or the reasons for their existence clearly explained). Apart from that this is not only brilliant and funny , but also very accurate.

I wonder the if the folks who made "The smartest guys in the Room" see another such movie in the making.
Let's hope they do, I'll be among the first ones to watch it...

Re: Interesting read, this.... [#permalink]
Yeah, my girlfriend worked in mortgages in Riverside county and the things she used to tell me about the people they were giving loans to would make me laugh out loud. A 23 year old cocktail waitress got approved no doc with stated income of $60,000 for a $450,000 condo. Now you tell me if that makes any sense? No money down and only stated income of $60,000? Her mortgage payment would have been close to her net income. This happened everyday my gf alone would do 4-5 of these a week!!!! Oh well, she also made more money in 2006 than I made in the last 3 years, of course she is unemployed now.

haha..going by the number of downloads..many more know about the mess now and given that it is funny...I'm sure it'll be passed around too. If it does make its way to the mailbox of the person who first thought of it (the mastermind)...I'd love to see his/her reaction to this PPT
