If a candidate wants to pursue in finance so how much amount of work experience will defenetly get him into INSEAD ?
Hi, I agree with
bb. There is no sure shot method of getting into a business school- INSEAD or any other for that matter (In that case everyone would land up at their first choice business schools).
Here are a few things that can help you specifically at INSEAD:
1. having
international experience and demonstrating that you have gained some associated qualities as a result- open mindedness, adaptability, cultural sensitivity and an ability to thrive among people who are different from you.
2. having
leadership skills and demonstrating these in your work experience and extra curricular activities.
3. having self awareness about your career and
clarity on career goals. Goals should be ambitious, yet realistic, and they should justify the need for an MBA, specifically from INSEAD
4. having a
good academic record demonstrated through competive GPA and GMAT. INSEAD does place an eligibility criteria for different components of the GMAT score - so check these out and try to achieve a score closer to their suggested score.
all the best!
