Interval between test dates - Help please  [#permalink]

Hi - I'm taking my first GMAT test on 9/24 and am planning to book another one straight away. I know I am required to have a 16 day window between dates.
My question is this - Am I allowed to take the test again on 9/10 or 9/11 - These are the only dates I can take the 2nd test as I am traveling. My only option for another
date is 10/22 but that is the final date for my application to the MBA program. Do you know if the scores are submitted to the university on the same day if I was to take the test on 10/22

Thanks

You don't really have to worry about when your score will be made available to your target schools. You just need to make sure that you take the GMAT with which you want to apply before any deadlines specified by your target schools.

I'm guessing that by "9/10 or 9/11" you meant October 10th or October 11th. Those dates should be fine. The easiest way to confirm is to book your first appointment for the 24th of September and then try to book the second appointment. The mba.com website will not allow you to book an appointment that violates any of the GMAC's policies. I don't recommend taking the GMAT on the 22nd of October—that would be cutting it too close. If you do go for the 22nd, ensure that you are absolutely certain about the deadlines you are trying to meet. Run it by your target schools if necessary.
