Hello
Is the interview today or next Wednesday?
Congratulations for the interview call.
Here are a few suggestions for the interview.
1. Visit Vanderbilt - Owen's website and find out what they have to say about admission interviews. This can give you a broad idea of what they look for in a candidate during interviews.
2. Many former applicants blog about their interview experience. You can read blogs about Vanderbilt Owen's admission interviews; this would give you a very good idea of the interview questions that are asked.
3. Get in touch with alumni of Owen and see what advice they would have for you. After interacting with them and taking in their perspective, frame your own answers for the common interview questions that Owen generally asks. Of course you may face some entirely new questions in your actual interview, but the more prepared you are the better you will answer the surprise questions.
4. Gather as much information as you can about the school. You must have already done this when you were writing your essays. Revisit your research. Visit the school if possible (if you did not visit before). In the interview you will have to show how eager you are to join Vanderbilt and how you make a perfect fit for it.
5. Practice as much you can. Take the help of your family and friends and have as many mock interviews as possible before the actual interview.
