Hi all,
I recently gave my HEC interview for R1 intake of 2026 for their MIM program.
Interview was very chill for me, panelists were quite supportive and soft. They were 2, one was faculty and other was their alumni.
You will get the name of the interviewers before hand on your dashboard, so you can definitely go and check bit about their background and all.
Now talking about the interview part, it is designed to know you as a person, to know your stories, and your motivation to join HEC. It wasn't all about academics and professional experience but more leaned towards my co-circular activities.
It started with few basic questions like Introduce yourself, Why France & why specifically HEC?
They asked me are their any electives and courses you find interesting which your are looking forward to ? - So thoroughly research course content and be clear.
Following that they asked my experience with co-workers during my stint at Deloitte.
There was a question from my volunteering event participation, like what motivated me to go for it and what i learned from that experience?
They then asked me, how will your friends introduce you?
Last question asked to me was about what do you think is the biggest challenge for your generation.
Then they will ask you to ask them questions if any, so be prepared.
