Having mentored tons of applicants for various top B-school interviews, I pretty much have an idea of what an interview by HEC Paris looks like.
To begin with, I would like to let you know that the interview is no different than any other B-school interview.
The interview round is generally the last phase of selection solely conducted to analyze whether the personality traits of the shortlisted applicant are in line with the virtues of the school. So, what I generally suggest to my clients is to put forward their most confident side during the interview while presenting facts that are true and phrased impressively. Secondly, highlighting facts related to achievements and impacts created is very important to put through a clear picture of your capabilities.

Moving further, questions during the interview would be aimed at learning about your journey (profile based), for example - why this course? What are your goals? Why this school?
In addition to this, competency-based questions like ‘project x in your resume looks interesting, how did you manage to pull it off?’ are asked to get an idea of your skills in action and the impacts you created. Answering such questions is pretty easy, all you need to do is break down your answer into 3 parts - situational context, action taken and impacts created.

Here are a few HEC Paris interview questions that you could prepare for:
Run me through your CV/ Tell me something about yourself
Why do you want to pursue this course at the moment?
Which other schools have you applied to and why do you want to get into HEC?
How would you convert your past teamwork experience at the school?/ how will you contribute to the school?
Strengths/ Weaknesses?
Biggest failure and what you learned from it?
What are you passionate about

If you notice the pattern of these questions, it is no rocket science and is related to revealing your life story, which is why there is no need to worry. All you have to do is pick the right examples and choose the right words to paint an interesting picture. That said, keep up your confidence and give your best at all circumstances!
