If you are talking about an interview I can't think of a business school that I have been to where anyone dressed in anything less than a suit. Err on the side of caution, wear a suit.

Right, but i'm talking about a preview weekend. It's where the school invites applicants for a weekend to show them the school's amenities and to talk to professors, current students, alumni, etc. I'm not sure if I need to wear a suit all weekend for this part, or if business casual will suffice; i'm definitely wearing a suit for the interview portion.

I'd go business casual, with maybe a sportcoat in tow, just in case. Suit and Tie for the interview though.

I went to Berkeley's big to-do this summer, and it really didn't matter. This, though, was a pre-application event. I suppose that at an event like the one you're describing, you are more likely to make an impression that is actually linked with your name.

Just for teh sake of comparison - at GSB's preview weekend most everyone was in busines casual attire, some people wore jeans, but I thought that was pushing it. Though, no one had "interviews" to go to that day either...
