Hi, since the IR and AWA sections do not contribute to the composite score, how should I structure my studying for these sections? How much studying time/what portion of my studying should I allocate for these sections, since they are not as important as the Verbal or Quant? Thanks!

Hi. Welcome to GMAT Club.
You are correct in your thinking - neither of these sections matter for admissions. So you don't want to spend really time on them but you don't want to bomb them either.
- IR is a pain in the butt and not really evaluated or looked at. I would still recommending getting 4 or higher which should be pretty easy.
- AWA is easy, just follow this template. You will spend 1 day to master it and get the max possible score. https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-get-6 ... 64327.html

Hi ksan.
The best way to master IR is the following.
First prepare for Quant and Verbal since, in doing so, you'll be developing most of the skills you need for IR. Then, toward the end of your preparation, do some IR specific prep.
