I just gave my my gmat.
730 - Q48 V42. IR 2
AWA should be ok.
I made 3 mistakes though
1. I didn't want to stress myself on IR and probably took it too easy/slow
2. I didn't submit my last IR question, for which I had the answer.
3. I didn't realise that I had overshot my break. I lost 3 min on my quant section, and hence my composure.
My question is this - will a 2 on IR cause me to immediately be rejected ? (I'm only going to be applying to the top 10 schools). Do I need to retake ? My normal math score would be around 50 and my verbal 41.

At a 730, I don't think a retake is necessary..IR scores don't affect bschool's reputation. In other words, you won't be dragging down their rankings in various publications if you were admitted. They may take pause --- but I think there's more risk that if you retake it and score lower on the 800 scale, that would hurt you.
