Now that we have new focused edition of GMAT coming up, will IR score for someone who appears via old gmat format also hold more relevance wrt application process?

In some cases, admissions officers may become somewhat more aware of IR because they are caused to by the presence of DI in the new GMAT Focus Edition.
However, keep in mind that IR still won't affect your GMAT total score. So, I think admissions officers will continue to deemphasize consideration of IR when considering scores on the current version of the GMAT.
