Is the number x is divisible by 9.
1. The number x can be obtained by taking the difference between a number and
another one obtained by reversing the digits.
2. The sum of the digits of x is divisible by 9.

(B)
(C)
(D)
(E)

It should be D

1) ab is the number and ba is reverse number

10a+b -( 10b+a)= 9(a-b) clearly divisble by 9
Sufficient

2) say abc is the number

given a+b+c =9k
100a+10b+c = 99a+9b+(a+b+c) = 99a+9b+9k -->clearly divisible by 9

sufficient

D
