=(3x+ 6 + 2)/(x+2)
= 3 + 2/(x+2) as X is an integer 0 or an other integer 2/(x+2) can be an integer or not.
INSUFF

x=0
(3x+8)/(x+2) = 8/2 = 4
SUFF

Good explanation for 1 Fig. Karl I hope the expression 3 + 2/(x+2) answers your question whether the it is an integer or not. It will be an integer only for x = 0.
