Hi there,
I recently scored 695 in Gmat focus and targeting ISB PGP round 2. Can someone guide me if i can get through
My academics
Class 10 - 10 CGPA, Class 12 - 80 percent, Btech(JIIT Noida, ECE) - 7 CGPA
Work Experience
Worked as Software test engineer at Samsung Research Institute Noida (3+ years of work experience)
Extra curricular
i have been pursuing stand up comedy for more than 1 and half years with experience of performing in open mics and paid line up shows. Also i have performed in college fests.

While GMAT Score is above average, your work experience if not portrayed in an impactful light will create potential challenges for you. Almost everyone who applies to ISB with QA / Testing background talks about coming up with Automation Scripts and helping ship production ready stuff at high pace.
While this is of course the core of what you would have also done, you will need to showcase more about the Business Impact because of your work.
Talk about things like you understand the semi conductors industry, how you built a small sized team from scratch, how quality and throughput of your work impacted the business (ex. a time sensitive launch happened on time), unique perspectives about the testing industry that because of GenAI more code will get printed - and thus more need for testing - and hence more need to automated testing products etc.
While the ability to do standup comedy definitely shows that you are a confident speaker and can engage an audience, you will need to tie in with your overall narrative as to how this quality of yours will help you add more value to the ISB cohort and this trait is aligned with the goals you have.
