Re: Is a^2b > ab^2 ? (1) a > b > ab (2) 0 > a > b [#permalink]
Is a^2b>b^2a?

ab(a-b)>0?

(1) a>b>ab
either a,b both are negative or are positive fractional numbers
if both are negative ab is +ve and so is (a-b )
if +ve fractional numbers still both are positive .sufficient

(2) 0>a>b
ab and (a-b) both are positive
sufficient
