I am applying to NYU Stern part time program for Fall 2019 and am trying to decide if I should submit my application now are wait until I take the GMAT again on Jan 3rd in hopes (and very likely) higher score.
As of now I have a 630 on the books and can submit today but worried that this is lower than there average and I will end up getting rejected. I have heard that for NYU, even more than other schools, applying late is quite detrimental but wondering if part-time is different.

Yes of course, my quant was 40.
In terms of my background, I have been working for 10 years in both media strategy and SaaS sales in tech. I have a strong background in mentoring (teach classes at my alma mater and have been doing big brothers and big sisters for 6 years) and am currently the COO of a small start up in NYC.
Hi turtle7113, your work background and ECs are interesting but I am concerned about your quant score. 40 is around the 43%ile and I would like for you to get that up a bit to let them know you can handle the math. Try a new strategy if needed, like a study group in person or online, or a tutor. Might consider GRE as well if additional GMAT effort doesn't get results. Plan B would be to do MBAMath.com - this will help give them confidence you can handle the math as well.
