Hey everyone,

I can fit in 60 hrs studying before my exam. My first practice test I got a 680 (34V 48Q). I wasn’t “cold” as I’m 65% through my Prep materials (Economist). I have a target score of 740 and was wondering how likely it is/how often people increase verbal from 34 to 42 in just a month. Any help would be much appreciated and I’m not necessarily looking for strategies. I just want to get a better understanding of my position (is it a dream/do able/probable/etc). Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

Yes, it's doable. If your exam is approaching in a month, then it's recommended to practice with more official verbal questions.

Few things you should do:
1. Make an error log. Identify the type of mistakes you are doing.
2. Understand each answer option. Think why this is right and why this is wrong.
3. Analyze your mock test. Check why did you think in the wrong direction and what will take you to think in the right direction towards the right answer.
