Will college algebra prepare me for the GMAT math section? I am not good at math. I can hardly do the order of operations. Should I start from scratch and take a college algebra class at a community college or are there other resources online that can help me?

Yes the math concepts mostly are from college .

There are many sources/courses out here for quant even from basics.

Manhattan/TTP/egmat/vertisa
All are good

College Algebra is more than enough for conceptual clarity. What you need is application/practice.

GMAT Algebra does not go beyond quadratic equations.
So just make sure the formulae of linear and quadratic are in place and also go through the graphs of the same.
That should do.
