JHR2021
Hi,
If one attempts GMAT at a test centre, it is said that Official Score report is available/sent(updated database) to schools between 7-20 days. So when is the test taker report available? Is the test taker report is same as official score report ? or is it something that is available to students immediately after test without AWA score on it? I asked this question because IIMB says if official score report not available at the time of application then test taker report must be attached with application. This suggests as if test taker report is available earlier. I'm trying to optimally time my exam on a particular date so as to maximise prep.
Can you guide?
Regards
Hi JHR2021,
Test takers see their unofficial scores (quant, verbal, total, and IR) at the end of their exam. If they choose to accept these unofficial scores, they'll get a copy of the
unofficial score report (printout) once they leave the testing room. This report doesn't include the AWA score.
You'll receive your
official score report after that, usually within 3-4 days. You should also then receive an email telling you that your score (school copy) has been sent/reported ("sent" = database access made available) to the programs you selected.
Test taker copy usually refers to the unofficial score report, as the score reporting process doesn't normally break. That is, if you have an official score report, the programs you selected should also have it (they get a more detailed version).
