Dear community, I wrote GRE today and got a score of 324( V155, Q 169). This is exactly the same score, I received a month back. I am thinking to apply to top 10 b-school this year and wanted to hear the opinion of the people here on re-taking the test again. I think, I have reached the saturation level and would appreciate any advice on this.

My background: I am Indian engineering with 5 years of work experience in the social impact sector.

Hi robo06, congratulations on a great GRE score. That score falls well within range for most top MBA programs. But considering the over-represented background you come from, I won't be averse to taking the test 1 last time(if you think there is room for improvement).

Thanks for your suggestion. I am really grateful.

No worries! I'm preparing for the GRE too! I think a lot of it comes down to the mental fatigue. If you think you can go no longer, working on applications seems prudent too. Hopefully you get some useful insights from the community

That's great to hear. Let me see about the missing gaps from the diagnostic report and take a call. All my best wishes to you.

Hi robo06,

Thanks for writing in.

If you are looking for the top 10 business schools in the US and considering you belong to an over-represented pool of applicants, you must either look at retaking the test or modifying the list of schools you are applying to in order to spread the risk well.

Feel free to write to us for a detailed profile evaluation to discuss your prospects in greater detail.

All the best!

Your GRE score equals to around 700 on the GMAT, which is a bit low for Top 10 MBA programs but not impossible - over the years we've had many candidates who were accepted to top 10 programs with average and even low GMAT scores, as you can see here: https://aringo.com/aringo-top-mba-gmat-results/
