Three years of work experience is sufficient for an MBA, even at the top programs you indicated. The MS, while not work experience, is a valid part of your overall profile and adds credentials.
An additional year of work may not really make a difference. Something to also consider, if you just work for one year and apply, you might not really be able to demonstrate a strong track record in such a short period of time. That COULD impact your resume and the strength of your letters of recommendation.
If you are considering working, I would suggest at least 2 years post-MS. That would also give you time to work on other aspects of your profile. HSW, as you know, is brutally competitive. Don't rush it since your first shot is usually your best one.
