I've come across many people who seem to have worked for 5-6 different companies over the last 3-5 yrs, in different positions gaining different kinds of work experience. Is this common? Is it seen in a positive light? I kind of have a unique situation in that I went to law school, then found out it wasn't for me...then began working. I've been with the same company for about 1 year, and I have been promoted once...however I don't see anything happening as far as my day to day operations/responsibilities for another year (yearly review/evaluations). I'm applying for fall 2009 admissions...should I be looking to jump ship to another job to get more experience? Or should I stick with my company? I'm in land development BTW...so finding another job in these times may prove to be very difficult.
