I was wondering if the sentence below is correct.
Sales of US goods to developing countries rose to $160billion in 1992, which is 14 percent more than the previous year and largely offsets weak demand from Europe and Japan

I figured a couple of issues with this sentence.
1. 'which', which is non-restrictive, should modify the noun immediate next to it.
I won't consider this as a collective noun, but in the absence of any other choice 'which' can refer to '160 billion in 1992'.
2.14 percent more than the previous year?? --> comparing rise in sales with previous year. wrong.
should have been: more than that of previous year's
