Is it necessary to give names of the B-Schools

Hello,
 Is it necessary to give names of the B-Schools to which you want to send your scores before taking the GMAT? What if, you don't want to send scores to any of the B-Schools right now but after 2-3 years? Or what if you want to send your score to only one B-School right now and to remaining 4 schools at some later time if required?

Last time I gave the exam, I read that either I give the name of 5 institutes in the exam or pay for each after I am done.. hope that helps

Yup, nathandrake is correct: you can send GMAT scores to five business schools for free on your test day, or you can request additional score reports later. If you send them at a later date, the fee for each school is $28, plus taxes in some countries. Sadly, you'll have to pay the fee even if you don't use all five score reports on test day.

It's good to check the exact names and extra details of the school because we assign the specific program in a school to which we want out scores to go. Yep, as was replied above, if you want to save money it would be best to do it at the time of the exam. In reference to waiting a few years to send scores, the sooner the better. If you wait 3 or 4 years your scores will become less valid to schools of which you are applying. This is because they are no longer a current representation of your knowledge base. Some schools may view the to be outdated. Hope this helps a bit. Good luck!
