Hi everyone,
my story with the gmat is soooo long and started in January 2009. since then, I used to study on and off.
GMAT May 2009 - 330 (Q22- V16)
GMAT - October 2009 - 410 (Q31-14)
after my 2nd attempt, I decided to go with MGAMT (online course and the 8 books + all the other resources). I went to all the online classes and found them interested and helpful. From January to mid-February, my focus was the verbal and my score was improved from V 16 to 22 (according to the GMATPREP).
GMAT PREP 1 480 - Q:35/ V:22
I was so happy and I thought that I will benefit more from the math books. I spend the whole month of March studying and went over the 5 book. However, I was really disappointed yesterday to see my score in the GMAT rep as Q36!!!
If after studying the 5 books, i wasnt able to achieve beignning of 40's...so how am I going to achieve my dream score of 45!!!
I thought I'll be able to score 40-41 and then with more practice I can get the 45....but it seems that I still have a long way!!
what do I do? do I give up? i have until end of June to do the GMAT.
My plan is to focus on verbal for the 3 next weeks (one section/week). Then I'll review the 3 sections in the last week of April. In May, I'll start doing
MGMAT CAT test every Saturday. Spend three days to review my math mistakes and the concepts related to them, and the other three days, I'll do the same with my verbal mistakes.
I will do a GMAT Prep at the end of May. In June, I will do full
MGMAT test (with AWA) twice/week
what do you think? what do you think it is not working? is it normal that I'm still at 36 in Q???
I woke up today morning and started thinking about giving up...but I know that I still have hidden power and energy, but I don't know how to get them out
