It is worth it. Studying the OG Verbal raised my initial score of V20 (before prep) to V-high30s (after prep) :)

It's very helpful!

Yes, I think the OG supplements are a little easier than the regular OG. But get your hands on all recently retired questions. ALL OF THEM.

Hi,
I am new to this forum.
Read on some threads regarding which books to study.
Where is OG 11 available and is this the full name of this book, if not please do tell?

Thanks

Yes, without a doubt. The more realistic problems you have to practice with, the better.

I have the OG guides (and I found that I now have 2 OG 11's for some reason  ) but also supplemented my quant with the OG 11 quant guide.

The questions are easier than the OG 11 book, however, they are still great practice and a good confidence boost. That combined with the GMAT software are a great review.

If the questions are easier in the supplement books than in the OG, how is this helping a high scorer?
Wouldn't you just see such difficulty level questions only during your first 5 on the Q section? And then once you answer those correctly, you'll suddenly start getting way tougher questions that you are not really prepared for....Like someone else suggested, keep re-taking the GMATPrep tests and you'll be seeing the right questions for your level.

As far as the V section goes, I am not entirely sure but it seems to me 90%+ of the questions in the OG and V suppl books are already in the 1000 sc, rc, cr documents that you can download here.

Two reasons
1) It's not that much easier than the regular ol' OG. You will inevitably see questions of variable difficulty because it will be experimental or you will get a few questions wrong.
2) There are so few questions that replicate the GMAT questions. That's just a simple fact.
