Hello Hjort,
I am in a dilemma. I definitely have to stick to a PT program due to my status in this country. I am an immigrant on a visa ( allowed to work).
I have two choices as far as choice of a school is concerned due to my location. First being Louisiana state university (ranked 60+) and Tulane University ( ranked in top 30).
Question is does it really matter where I go? Tulane is a well recognized school and has a better student profile while LSU is not that strict on admissions, besides half the price in regards to Tuition.
I think Tulane MBA will make more accessible to bigger companies where as LSU would limit me to local companies. I have 5 yrs of work experience in my field and at some point I may consider changing careers. FT is not an option in my situation. many people have told me that ROI may not be great and spending that extra $$ on Tulane is not worth it. I have heard both sides. Please advice on my line of thinking.?Appreciate your response.
