I have been admitted to the MSc finance program of EBS University. I have read that the university has faced some controversies in past. Is it still a good university. Will the degree hold its value if I want to work outside Europe?

Of you have other reasonable options, i would suggest you Go for them!

The only positive aspect you may expect is that that ebs has an Alumni Network that Seems really loyal towards current students

Other than that: only ebs students think an ebs degree is respectable

Thanks vincentgoffm!

I have rejected the offer from EBS.
I currently have offers from -

1. MBA in Finance from UCONN
- It is a decent B School in the US.
- The course is STEM.
I speak fluent English so it won't be difficult to find part time work
- Getting work visa for US is not easy after completing degree.

2. MS in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
- Good School in Germany.
- I do not speak German so will have to learn that and finding part time work will be difficult.
- Finding full time work as a non EU student is difficult after degree.

which one do you think is better?

Depends on what you want to do and where you want to work. US is quite different from Germany, so maybe put some weight on that.

I come from Frankfurt so what I can tell you is that FSFM is definately target-school for Investment Banking and Consulting in Frankfurt/Germany.

However, I don't know how hard it is to land a job in Frankfurt/Germany without speaking german and I can't say anything about your US option.
