You are on the right track. I actually never scored too well on Kaplan CD although I ended up with 710 and yes, their verbal is way too difficult. Their CD is definitely good for stamina building. If you have 700 on one of their CD, you are on a very good track. 780 is a very high target score but remember that at that level, on any given day, a same test taker could be at +/- 30 points of his true score level :)

i agree with Paul. With a 700 in a Kaplan test you're well on your way to a very outstanding score.
