Hi All,
Brief about me:
Education:- Bachelors in Electronics Engineering GPA:3.5
I am an Indian presently working in UAE as a Marketing Manager for a small firm selling Helipad Lights/Helipads/Cable Management System/Lightning Protection System/Aircraft Warning Lights.
In total i have 12 years of experience in companies like (60 months)Schneider India, Lutron India(30 months), Honeywell India(15months), 24 months in a small Marketing firm in India and 15 months in UAE . I have handled technical ,Training, Business Development,Key accounts , Marketing roles in these organisations.
I was trying for roles in Strategy but was not even considered as i was not having an MBA.
I want to get into Strategy roles but don't have an MBA degree.
Now the question:
I want to do an MBA in Strategy from a renowned B Schools like (Harvard,Stanford,Kellogg,Sloan,Yale,ISB,IIM's). I havent taken GMAT yet but planning to do so Soon. What advise do you people have for me?
1. In terms of B-School?
2. GMAT Score
3. Work experience:-Some people have told me thats way too much experience for entering a B school. Which makes me worried a little. Is this a boon or a bane?
4. Am i eligible for B-Schools for MBA in Strategy ?
Looking forward to your replies. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Anupam
