MLIC is a big fraud. I registered for GRE turbo prep in 2009, and maple leaf was quick to charge my credit card with #1450. On the day my GRE prep classes was to commence, I drove 1.5hrs to the hotel where the class was meant to hold. There was no representative of MLIC at the hotel and the hotel did not know about MLIC. I sat at the hotel for almost 3hrs, trying to get a hold of someone at MLIC new york and no one responded to my calls. Eventually someone picked one of the numbers I was calling, and he did not know anything about any class scheduled to hold in Houston. In all, the class was never scheduled or did it ever hold. After much trouble with MLIC, it took two month to get part refund of the money that had been charged to my account. MLIC kept $200 for a service that was never provided. I had made child care arrangements which I had fully paid for, for my daughter based on the GRE prep class I was supposed to attend with MLIC. MLIC never sent me a cancellation notice, no appologies, all MLIC rep I spoke with were totally rude and unprofessional untill they stopped taking my calls. I was close to missing the application deadline for the schools I was applying to, Had to make a private tutoring arrangemnt which cost me about $4000, otherwise I would have missed getting into school in 2009. MLIC is still holding on to my $200 dollars for a service that was never provided. Please be aware of MLIC, they are very fraudulent. I question the review they have on their website base on my experience. It is all false or arranged reviews. Be warned please, learn from my experience!!!
