hi everyone,
this is my first post and would like some helpful advice. i took the gmat for the first time back in august, and received the following score:
Verbal: 41 / 93%
Math: 44 / 72%
Overall: 700 / 92%
AWA: 6.0 / 89%
i know the overall score is strong, and i was over the moon about - after having studied independently for three months straight. however, i am now getting kind of nervous that my math score is so low. is 72% too low for the top schools?
i'm not sure what i can do about it since i am applying round 1 and applications are due soon - but would appreciate any perspective or advice you may have.

I don't know, but I have seen some chatter on these and other boards about a minimum 80% threshold bias at the top schools.

Do you have any other relevant information that shows you can handle the quantitative rigors of bschool? Undergrad work? Are you an engineer?
The score itself is not terrible. But reaching the 80th% would erase any doubts.
