thanks for the help guys. i've also heard about the 80/80 rule.

i took economics and statistics as an undergrad, and did fairly well. i also managed the project finances and calculated bi-monthly financial projections at my last job.

i understand what the point is though - that i should perhaps write about my experiences with quant, so as to quell any doubts.
