Hi all,
GMAT in 6 weeks.
Is it sufficient to go through
OG 11 and
OG verbal and maths books, and
OG 10 to get 700 plus.
I have got the Kaplan and Princeton books, but do not want to waste time if going through OG10 and OG11 plus
OG maths and verbal books in detail will be enough. Why bother with the Kaplan and PR books given that
OG has enough questions and will be most representative of the actual exam.
I am resitting the GMAT. Scored 620 the first time round.
Plan is to do the 2 GMATPrep test plus the 4 PR ones and 4 Kaplan ones.
Thank
Any advise really apprecited.
I disagree somewhat with the posters above. It's certainly true that the
OG books contain questions that run the gamut up to the most difficult. The problem is, there aren't very many very difficult questions--the vast majority are of moderate difficulty. (That's where the majority of test-takers are as well.) So if you're shooting for a score in the mid-600's, it's great. Above that, you'll need to work more on problems that mimic the hardest type.
This forum is one place where you'll see some challenging questions, so keep an eye out. Also, look at some of the specialized prep books. (I agree that Kaplan is not great in this area.) Manhattan Review's books offer lots of problems pitched at a high difficulty level:
