(1) r is greater than 1/4

(2) r is equal to 3/10

Statement 1: r > 1/4 means r>0.25. It could be 0.26 ,0.27. Not Sufficient.

Statement 2: r = 3/10 = 0.3. Sufficient.

The best answer is B.
