I'd like to ask one more question: someone says
"Kaplan Cat verbal is much more difficult"
others say:
"Kaplan scores are lower not because of the difficulty of the questions, but because their score generator is different from that of ETS and generates lower scores."
Which of the two ones? Both?

I would agree that Kaplan RC is VERY difficult. Very convoluted passages perhaps even tougher than the toughest ones in the OG(Remember the science passage ones, the one with adenosine binding). CR and SC would be similar to the actual GMAT level. As to the scoring algorithm of Kaplan, yes, it is definitely less generous but the overall difficulty should not be discounted for as much.

I can't remember which was the hardest passage, but I distinctly remember that coffee passsage in the OG frustrating me. There was another one, but I can't recall what it was.
