Statement 1: $$t=m^2 => \sqrt{t}=\sqrt{m^2}$$. Nothing given about $$m$$. Insufficient

Statement 2: nothing given about $$t$$. Insufficient

Combining 1 & 2, as $$m$$ is even so $$m^2$$ is even, hence $$\sqrt{t}$$=even. Sufficient
